Project Summary
Key System Solutions was commissioned to implement lighting and HVAC control systems in 126 guest-rooms, Access Control in both the guest rooms and an additional 75 back of house points and an additional (but separate) lighting control system for the common areas at the Park Hyatt hotel in St. Kitts.
For this project KSS provided consultation and design services, advising on the system layout and providing shop and as-built drawings for the 12 different room types throughout the property, as well as supply, installation and commissioning of the systems themselves. All designed to meet Hyatt’s stringent technology, energy management and quality requirements, without compromising the guest comfort or experience experience.

Due to the constraints of the property, as well as the quantity and complexity of the systems to be integrated, we chose Savant for the automation, entertainment systems and Araknis and OVRC for the networking systems.
This design and configuration allows Savant to provide single points of control for all of the Entertainment systems throughout the property as well as the existing Lutron lighting control system, which was also integrated.
The system provides the ability for the homeowner to monitor and interact with any of the systems using their smartphone, and/or tablet, both when they are at the residence and remotely when they are not.
